Chances are it ain’t just YOU

As I grapple with an increasingly annoying web host who is seemingly doing all they can to (try and) RUIN the 0 Excuses Fitness biz (there’s a reason I use the term “ruin”, and I’ll elaborate on why beneath) – I’d like to talk about something else.

I don’t know if it’s a trend these days or what, but every time I bring up a problem with regard to anything – I’m given the standard stock response of “Sorry for the inconvenience” (I can almost see their grubby little fingers typing that response out as I type!) – and then after that this little gem!

No-one ever has any problems with us! It’s just you!

And lest you think it is just this web host, think again,

Think SEVERAL times.

I’ve been through a lot of web hosts, good and bad – and the ones for the fitness biz have always started out as great, and then (after they had my business) became the exact opposite and worse.

But I must admit THESE guys (and I won’t name and shame them for now here – but I’ve done so elsewhere) – take “poor service” to giddy limits.

Some guy at their customer service center coolly re-directed the domain to a competitor website – amazingly enough (or not!) with NO prior authorization from my end.

That’s right. They didn’t even bother asking!

Like a schoolboy doing all he can to “get the issue resolved as quickly as possible before the customer finds out”.

Before that, they renamed a few files on the 0 Excuses Fitness website to “Hello World”, and got back to me claiming the issue was fixed.

When I raise tickets, try and talk to them – the works – you guessed it – crickets.

I just wrote a lengthy two page post on this so won’t get into it again, but here’s the point I’m trying to bring up.

MANY companies are like this. It seems to be a “shame the customer” technique that may work for idiots, but it don’t work for anyone that has half a brain.

In China, my internet service provider often tells me the same thing when I complain about spotty internet at times.

“It’s just you! No-one else has complained!”

And yet when the dude who fixes it comes to my house to repair the connection, his phone is ringing off the hook with dozens of customers complaining about – you got it – the same damned issue.

And my Chinese internet service provider is not nearly, nowhere NEARLY as bad as these web hosts I’ve got now.

Anyway, end of rant there – and I’m not sure when the 0 Excuses Fitness site will be back.

We might just have to move hosts – YET AGAIN. Last major move was in 2014, and it looks like 6 years down the line, another one is in store.

No big deal. Happens. Hehe.

But the point is this, my friend, and it holds true for fitness too – it ain’t just you.

There are tons of people trying to get in shape – just like you.

There are tons of people dealing with the nonsense spouted by the so called gurus and experts on fitness that are getting nowhere quick – just like you!

And there are tons of people that don’t know how to engage in routines like the ones I wrote about yesterday on this here site . . .

It ain’t just you, and that is why I created the members only forum on 0 Excuses Fitness. Go right HERE to become a member (once the damn site is back up again that is).

And on that note, it’s off to deal with the increasingly recalcitrant web host . . .

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Contact me directly in case you’re on the outlook for products etc, and I’ll have to process the orders manually in that case. No problem though – go for it – I’ll be happy to serve ya that way too! ?

So this morning (afternoon), actually I woke up to a message from a friend with this.

“Hi Rahul”.

And nothing else . . .

A few days ago, I got this message on my WeChat (the above was on my WhatsApp).

“Rahul Rahul. Do you have a few minutes?”

And then . . . CRICKETS.

NOTHING at all after that.

If there is something that I ‘hate’ (actually I hardly use the term so I should say “is a pet peeve of mine”) it is THIS sort of “phishing” communication.

And most of the time, if not ALL the time, the person is looking for one of two things.

Freebies. Could be free advice. Free “try your product before I buy) (sorry, but as I’ve stated multiple times in the past, there are NO free trials for either Rahul Mookerjee or 0 Excuses Fitness products). Or free something.

Or, “unloading their negative energy on you”.

I have written about this a lot on the old site HERE and also a lengthy piece on Medium, but given THIS site’s move towards more “life oriented” topics and the other site more towards fitness (but we’ll see – I write about what I like as I like where I like, hehe and can’t nobody stop me – as ole Stone Cold once famously said!) I figured I’d write about it here too.

MOST of the time it’s people that want to suck up your energy on long, meaningless phone calls with rants that make no sense.

In other words, they want to find a “complaint box” and given the polarized world that this is turning into, the fact is most people have nobody to really talk to about THEIR own things.

And when they see someone that is writing on the Internet, an outwardly friendly person that HELPS others, guess what happens.

The energy leeches show up. The energy DRAINS show up. As do the freebie seekers, and energy suckers, and if you don’t watch out my friend YOU TOO will become one of this herd and lose the positive vibes that KEEP these people coming to you.

I’ve written about a person before that wanted free training from me, and who said my exercise poses looked “gay”.

And it is precisely this sort of person I try and avoid. In the beginning I’d dignify their comments by responding (at least initially) before I realized playing the nice guy wasn’t going to get me anywhere.

This also ties more into what I keep saying about NOT offering free products.

These people that take the free products and advice will NEVER EVER value it enough to actually use it, and down the road, they will turn around and bash you for being a “so called fitness guru” or whatever it is they want to say when the FACT is that they never actually got down to brass tacks and DID the thing.

And I wrote about that on the other blog the other day . . . so for those interested, head over to the 0 Excuses Fitness site and check it out.

And while there ain’t nothing with a good rant every once in a while and being the shoulder that others can cry upon, what happens when YOU NEED the SAME?

Crickets.

I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve tried to talk about my OWN stuff, and the person in front of me could care less about what I’m saying - - but is MORE than happy to rant on about (if we’re talking expats in China which to be honest are the category that keep contacting me the most for obvious reasons) their own life, and how everything sucks for them, and how they’re doing precisely jack squat to change it all.

Like the person that was jumping up and down about his thoughts on “red China”. Sent me a bazillion damned messages daily. And so forth.

All the while while LIVING in China.

Like dude, get a life. CHANGE your country of residence (and believe me, he had the cash to do it) if hate your current one that much.

Stop being a hypocrite – and feeding off others energy and dragging them down (or trying to) to YOUR level.

I’ll write more about this later, but for now, the point is this – if you feel “negative energy” come on as soon as you see a certain conversation – or communication or feel that it’s “useless to try and talk to this person because he just flat out ignores what you say” (or gets away with, or tries to, as a person recently told me “I read everything, but I don’t reply!” rubbish) then just don’t TAKE that conversation any further.

Yeah. Right. Reads everything but doesn’t respond, because a lot of it paint him out to be a a hypocrite . . .

Anyway, enough of this. Point is, cut negative energy and energy drains out of your life as soon as possible my friend. You’ll be all the better off for it!

And that’s that for now. Back soon.

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – and yes, these naysayers are just as active when it comes to FITNESS as well. Remember the case of the guy who showed up at the park one day demanding to know why I was doing pull-ups, and not “working my mind”. Uggggghhhhh.

P.S #2 – By the way, our courses on pull-up have been going GANGBUSTERS. From the initial “Pull-ups from DUD to STUD within a matter of WEEKS” (by itself immensely popular) to an ADVANCED course on pull-ups – and more . . . be sure and check it out!

P.P.S – Be sure also to check out the 0 Excuses Fitness System right here - - truly the nigh on MOST comprehensive HOME fitness system you’ll EVER need!

P.P.S #2 – If someone’s actually looking to do business, chances are they’ll SAY what it is they want and not just “Hi Rahul”. Bear that in mind as you go about your dealings with others, my friend. And it’s true – nigh on EVERY time someone’s actually wanted to do actual biz, they’ve SAID it.  It’s the “Hi . . . “ and then crickets sort you want to AVOID  like the bubonic plague. Trust me. Ain’t worth it by a long shot!

Max impact - Min effort.

This might sound contradictory, especially with all I've said about putting in the hard yards, and believe me, all of that is true.

But I was thinking about this as I was listening to a Ben Settle youtube video, and he mentioned something about martial arts (which of course you guys know I've been into at a young age - I still practice my kicks and stuff!) being similar to business in that you ideally want to get to the point where you do LESS - and MAKE MORE.

Now this is something of course I've spoken about for years

And it's true.

When you see those "small" martial artists generate more force with their punches and kicks than you'd ever think possible for someone their size (I wouldn't think that way - steel and whalebone is immensely STRONG!) - you might wonder where all the "strength" is coming from.

The right term to use there is energy - and DIRECTING that energy - and "flow".

All concepts I talk about all the time.

Generating force though the energy in your own body - properly harnessed and directed - is an art that can literally take years upon years to just get to "basic level" at - let alone any sort of mastey.

Same thing with business, writing emails, and so forth.

But to get to the point where you can bang out one email and have it make a ton of money - and repeat that daily - and work for like "one email a day" (however long that takes) - now you have to put in the hard yards to GET to that level.

That said, once you get to that level - and everyone should aspire to get there if you're into business - you do less - make more.

And more.

Thats like a slap to the face to those people who believe everything should be all about "grinding through the dust on your elbows through broken glass" to cash that check or whatever.

But it's true.

Think about all the rich people you see - they dont work harder. They work SMARTER.

Their money works for them.

They did, of course, put in the hard yards and go through many a heartbreak to GET to where they are (lots wont talk about it).

I talk about some of it on the Gumption Galore sales page, truth be told, that doesn't even start to scratch the surface of it - but for most people, that alone is way too much to handle (for those that have been there, done it, they will nod and say "amen" - and add on their own stories too).

Its about working to get to a point where you are positioned so you deliver "max blow" with "min "work"".

Now, fitness wise how does this apply?

Well, it's what I keep telling people all along.

If your time is limited, indeed, even if its not, if you're starting out - hell, even if you're experienced - nothing ever beats focusing on the BASICS.

That, for fitness is squats - and pushups - and pull-ups (those that can do 'em).

These truly, along with bridging are the big dog(s) of the fitness world.

Especially LEG work.

I can think of nothing that gets you more out of breath than squats - or climbing stairs and steep hills for one.

Or, running sprints.

Want bigger biceps? SQUAT!

Want a huge chest? Squat!

And so forth.

Same thing for handstand pushups, another "max bang" for your buck exercise.

If you want to fry the upper body within a few minutes flat, and get a workout that most of your contemporaries couldn't get in the gym for an hour - if they can even do it?

What I mention in Battletank Shoulders is the ticket.

None of this takes away the need for hard work.

ANd learning your trade.

And the exercises I teach you.

But train SMART should be the mantra, not necessarily "grind more". (except when it's required).

And those my friend(s) are my thoughts for now.

Back soon!

Best

Or realizing it, I should say.

But let me back up a bit.

Yours truly has always been headstrong to an extreme and especially if it is something I want.

No matter how trivial. I'll move mountains to get it, and I'm like a horse with blinders on when it comes to these things.

Always been that way, but it's really been this year, as both my businesses take off by leaps and bounds that I've realized the truism of the above saying.

Mike Mahler, I believe it was, him of kettlebell fame that once said on his site that “anything that came between him and his goal (back when he was setting up his biz) was OBLITERATED”.

Big time.

And in my case, it's been Napoleon Hill's advice of “you truly are the sum of the people you hang out with the most” (or are other wise influenced by through any medium) that I truly took to heart in a BIG way this year (and again, it's not that I did not do thi sbefore – it's just been magnified this year).

And I've made no secret of that, of course.

Now, at this point I gotta say something.

NONE, or at least not most of the people I've “removed” from my life are either “bad” people or unsuccesful, or not motivated to do their own thang, or whatever.

Quite the contrary.

Most are great people.

And a lot of them are wildly succesful at what they do in their own lives whether they realize it or not (and those that dont, well, I've gotten tired of trying to get them to realize it, but thats why, of course I ... ah, but we're getting there!).

But when you're having conversations with people and increasingly feel a disconnect, or a feeling of being used as a sounding box for one, it's time to re-evaluate the relationship.

He knows what he's on about”, is the silent cry that goes on in most of these people's minds, so when they want the real scoop or to rant about somethign they're too scared to do publicly guess who they come to.

Thats fine to an extent.

But when it comes to the reverse case, and yours truly needing to rant, nothing doing (or it has to be done their way or the highway).

Not to mention that the vast majority of people out there subconsciously sabotage not just their own success due to what they've been programmed with, but actively get on the “Crabs in the bucket” train when they see someone really going to town in every regard

And in the past, I'd give these people a slight chance.

These days?

Not a chance.

I could care less.

And it's only by REMOVING all negative influences, deliberate or not, conscsious or not that you can truly succeed at the highest levels.

Napoleon Hill said it best in Think and Grow Rich in that you can have ANYTHING your heart desires provided the desire is strong enough and the FOCUS is all encompassing, allowing nothing to come betwen you and the goal!

And it's true, my friend.

Most won't believe it, but then again, most won't succeed at the highest levels. You that WANTS To, well ... tough decisions need to be made!

And back to fitness.

When I got in the best shape of my life, I got laughs when I made the mistake of announcing my goal to a couple of people (I thought they were my friends, hehe).

(Par for the course, by the way ... and I've written about this before. Human beings tend to unconsciously point out the 100 reasons it can't be done, and neglect the one reason that it can!).

If I had told them at that point I'd be climbing hills multiple times a day, or doing 100 pushups perw workout, they'd have a coronary most likely.

(NB – I actually did 500 pushups a day for a while back in the day, but thats a different story, hehe).

Same thing with pull-ups and the advanced variations I've put out.

I didn't ask if i could do it. I just did it.

And when it gets to the point that you can't have a simple, casual conversation about bodyweight exercises without it being dissed, criticized and mention of gym shym being made (all to an innocous comment about “I did pushups and I feel great!”, for instance) then it's time to reevaluate.

In my case, what was ending up happening was I was subconcsiously getting irritated by these people, and allowing that irritation to sometimes take my mind over.

Bad mistake.

As soon as I PERMANENTLY removed these people from my life – guess what.

The flow not only came back, but increased greatly. Big time!

Do I mean we all have to agree on everything?

Hell no.

But there is a difference between being neutral and negative.

For instance, people often talk to me about their gym routines, and contrary to what you might think, I dont try and push my advice down their throats.

Never have, never will. How they train is their business - - unless they ASK, of course (and sadly enough many of these bozos ask, and don't listen).

But really. Unless asked, I'll actually even give them tips on how to improve in the gym, despite my dislike of modern day gyms.

THAT, my friend, to me is truly staying NEUTRAL.

If you get my drift.

And back to the central focus of this email.

If you're truly, truly looking to succeed at the highest levels at whatever it is you do, you must be ruthless in removing anything that even seems to appear between you and your goal!

It's only then that your faith is truly telegraphed to the Universe, and powers that be – and once that happens – watch out!

OK, my friend. I've got that off my chest haven't I. Hehe.

Back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

Matt Furey.

You guys have likely heard the name.

The man who started with nary a pot to piss in, and went on to become a multi-millionaire and has two home in two continents (and probably counting as we speak, hehe).

And then some.

A man that has motivated MILLIONS of peope globally.

A MAN that yours truly looks up to, admires, and always has.

And a man that was the basis for 0 Excuses Fitness in terms of a FEW of the other exercises – the main ones – and a man that I made my mind up to get better at certain exercises than he likely is. ;)

Hey, it's always about the “student” besting the teacher!

That is what I tell ALL my customers.

I don't care if it is Gautam who I once told could do pull-ups BETTER than I could if he just buckled down and did the thing! (which he DID DO).

Or if it's Charles Mitchell whose furiously working the exercises in Pushup Central (especially the fingertip versions ;)) ...

(As I told him – you can best me at them!)

He said he wasn't quite up to par as yet, but hey.

He's trying.

And I'm sure he'll get ther e(but I WILL be training too in the meantime, hehe. ;)).

But the point stands.

And as I've been comunicating with John Walker, the customer I speak so highly of, and the custommer that left me many a glowing review (with reason – and this is important – you'll see why beneath) ... a recent communique from him left me speechless.

Again in a good way!

He literally compared me to the legend.

Something I've often done privately (including with Ben Settle, another genuis and legend if there ever was one – not fitness related tho).

And something I never thought despite my books reachin thousands of people globally anyone would say.

Matt Furey, my friends, is truly a LEGEND.

Along with a few others I could name (Brooks Kubik being one!).

Anyway ... enough babble from me.

Here is the email and followeth my response too.

Dear Rahul

You are most welcome my friend, I just hope that I've done you justice as I don't write a lot of reviews, that's because I do not put much faith in other peoples opinions (opinions are like arseholes "everyone's got one") and I do not take anything I'm told at face value whether it's good or bad.

I tend to think most people are like minded and wish to make their own mind up about whether a product has true merit or whether it's just overhyped garbage.

With regard to your books I'm more than happy to shout from the rooftops how great they really are, whether anyone will be interested in what I have to say is "unknown" but if it helps you in any way then I'm more than happy to write as many reviews as you want.

I know there seems to be a lot of sceptics out there these days and if you try to give people your honest opinion they automatically assume you've had some kind incentive if the review is a positive one.

Your books on your training methods are unique I have never read anything like them, the closest being Combat Conditioning by Matt Furey, however, Matt's book could only be considered "basic training" compared to the "advanced methods" you proscribe in your books and although I don't own them all (yet) I know from what I do have that they are the best training books on the planet bar none, thank you for publishing the best training material in the world.

Warmest Regards

John.

REsponse beneath -

Hi John

Once again, thanks!! Yes those reviews did justice and then some ... and well ... enough said on that - I'm equally eager for them books to reach you so you can start cranking the workouts, and DO THEM justice too! ;)

(As I'm sure you agree, hehe).

Yes, I agree. Opinion are indeed like A-holes, but when that opinion is backed by FACT (as yours are) and has the RING of TRUTH to it (as a buddy of mine once told me) - well - then they do count!

Yes, do keep writing reviews - either on Amazon or to me personally (whichever works better for you is fine - although Amazon etc is probably the best best as "more people" would see it there) ...

And last, but not least, thank you again! To be compared to Matt Furey and as you rightly say, the workouts being more advanced than what the LEGEND (Furey) put out - well - I am left speechless for one. In a good way! But yeah, thats why I mentioned Matt in 0 Excuses Fitness - he deserves the mention and then some!

And so it goes. Thanks again my brother - you truly DO make all of this worth it!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

Well my friend, enough said on that one eh.

I'm out for now – back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – I was just telling my daughter how to do Math (something about addition – the question was a great one) – and the first thing I told her ? Handstand pushups solve all problems!

(and those of you paying attention on the other site KNOW WHAT I MEAN! ;-))

Next thing I know, she's in a handstand, hehe, and the four “sums” seem to be over and gone by the wind.

Again enough said!!!

PS #2 – Pick up Kiddie Fitness for your kids right now, my friend. It truly is a better gift than smartphone, endless inane videos, and other such “nonsense”. Get them started now. Get them started on the right PATH EARLY – I did mine at the age of 6 months on the monkey bars, and have never once looked BACK!!

PPS - It isn't often that my hands "shake" while writing, but really. Matt Furey. He is a legend!

PPS #2 - Just remembered, you ADVANCED trainees will love the ADVANCED book on pull-ups - pick it up right here - Pull-ups - from STUD to SUPER STUD within WEEKS!

Is what I do not “real work”?

I remember Uncle Bob laughing about something once, way, way back in the day ...

.. .about a certain mutual friend of ours.

... the “Major General” (not really, hehe) as it were.

And while specifics aren't important, let's just say Michael did the very thing back then that I do now (and I daresay made a ton of money while doing it).

(Is it any surprise my English name is Michael? Or my other “names” are ... ah, but we'll wait until the other site is back up to go there. ;))

But either way, he made the following comment once ...

... “and get a real job” (he was referring to our friend).

Not necessarily in a BAD manner either.

But get this.

While both of us (uncle Bob and myself) were bored stiff in the corporate world aching for a change, the 'General' was living the change (self created for the most part).

He was working from home. Working his own hours. Drinkning a ton of beer and having a ton of fun (that bit applies to me too, but hey! ;)) ... and most importantly, perhaps, at the tim eI met him making more money than either one of us was for the “hours” he put in (and enjoyed!).

And so forth.

And I get the same thing thrown at me all the time.

“I'm working”, I'll tell someone. Could be anyone.

Oh ok.

Where's your office? What do you do ?

I tell them.

Oh, you write. Great. But whats your real job?

And so forth ...

... Apparently writing and producing the amount I do on a damn nearly basis, and high quality stuff all of it isn't a real job?

What would these people tell me if I told them what Ford once told others?

“Thinking is by far the hardest job”.

Thats right.

Sitting still, focusing your mind on ONE THING WITHOUT DISTRACTIONS – and thinking – ruminating and on that ONE THING – for hours.

Is indeed one of th etoughest jobs out there!

And one that I can lay claim to being pretty good as of late.

Anyway, the same thing happens fitness wise.

Oh, pushups, you hear them sneer. But what about fitness?

You know you need the gym to get fit!

And so forth.

The comments pour forth from the brainwashed, and perhaps more surprisingly so, during the lockdowns everywhere, people haven't figured out to find a way, and are instead ranting on about closed gyms, “depression”, and the like.

Fiddlesticks my friend.

I just got a brief little stretching workout in that would floor most gym goers and Crossfitters from the word go.

Took me about 3 minutes in all, and I BE BUZZING now.

With energy, verve and vigor, and ready to go ... again!

Nah. Not what you think, hehe.

But really, the point stands

These preconcieved notions about “what it is” and what it “should be” are just stupid my friend.

Ditch them today – especially fitness wise. Best choice you'll ever make bro!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Here is the best fitness system out there (to put it simply and plainly!) - the 0 Excuses Fitness System. And yes, you DO need to grab it NOW.

I’ll never forget something my father once told me when I was young. About ye small, as it were . . .

“The person that has the ability is ALWAYS expected to do MORE!” , he proclaimed.

In a tone f voice that brooked no further arguments, and of course, for yours truly, that meant I just HAD to question him.

And I would have anyway.

Obviously.

“OK, fair enough”,  I said. “But then they should get PAID more! Or compensated accordingly” . . .

To which of course, there was no answer, and an annoyed look, and finally an irritated “that’s not how things work!”

Why, I asked.

Perfectly reasonable question you’d think eh.

And of course, there was no answer, except the usual “Who does he think he is to ask all this? He thinks he know it all!”

Know it all? Hey, I asked WHY, didn’t I?

He might as well have answered “No why”, as they do in mainland China. Mei Wei Shen Mo . . . something that annoys me greatly especially if the question is a valid one.

I’ve since learnt (and I was young then of course) is the reason people don’t answer these questions is because they cut DEEP . . .

Because of certain inadequacies THEY themselves have deep down inside (and I’m not referring to my father here – I am talking “in general” as it were) that get exposed when these questions are answered, or certain things they are themselves doing WRONG.

Anyway, I found this way of thinking to be highly socialistic and STUPID with a capital S.

Akin to what a colleague of mine in China told me years later when people were trying to mooch off me for this and that for whatever reason.

“It’s like a well full of water”, he laughed “Everyone shows up to fill their jug and leave after they’ve done it, and as for the well . . . “

And he laughed again.

“It’s EMPTY after a while”.

And though he said that in jest, what he said he was true, and it’s a way of thinking and philosophy that I embed into my daily life my friend.

No freebies, no “free” anything, and certainly none of the “you can do it, so you should help me for FREE” B.S.

Certainly no “you learnt X language for free, so you should teach me for free!”

And certainly not in terms of fitness either, but as for the expectation part, I’ve found it to hold true in life in general (though it’s not ideal, of course).

The 20% in any company, for instance, are the ones that really keep the company afloat and the rest of the slacker going.

This might sound insane, but its true my friend.

Do you remember that company I worked at? Yes, THAT company!

The same thing happened there. I was expected to bring in more sales “because I could” and “had the ability” and when I asked for commensurate compensation to be given, there was … you guessed it. Crickets with a capital C.

Why?

“Oh, he doesn’t have a choice”, was the thinking of the “powers that be” at that time.

In other words, they figured I had no choice when it came to jobs and it was their way or the highway.

HA!

Anyway, this sort of socialist thinking doesn’t appeal to me my friend. Sure, you can EXPECT more from me. No problem. And you’ll get it. But by that same token, you’ll be expected to COMPENSATE me – and WELL – for my services – or time – or products – or whatever it is you’re looking to get me to do for you.

That’s just how it works my friend. I’m not much of a fan of Marxist thought processes such as what he majority of folks seem to believe in . . .

Anyway, and again, back to fitness, I hear you say.

OK.

In terms of fitness, I’ve already covered the no freebies part (and how!) . . . but what I did not say up there is that fitness ain’t an unfair employer my friend.

It truly is something where you GET what you PUT into it – and again – how!

Napoelon Hill, I believe it was, spoke of the Law of Increasing Returns which was first brought up by the great Emerson in his essays on compensation.

He goes on to say that any service you render with an open heart (preferably an open heart) comes back to you somehow – and in an INCREASED manner. With compound interest added, as it were!

If you’re working hard right now on your fitness, for instance, but not seeing any results straightaway – well fret NOT.

Keep doing the thing, and soon enough you’ll have the power and probably MORE than the results you wanted when you first started, my friend.

And that’s how it’s worked with me in terms of fitness, as you know, and how it will work for you as well.

And that’s how it works in life in general . . .

Anyway, that’s a long enough post on all this.

Bottom line – if someone expects quality in any regard from you – be damn sure you can deliver it – and once you do – do so at a PREMIUM, my friend. There truly is no other way.

And when it comes to your own fitness, apply the SAME philosophies.

You’ll be nigh astounded at the results that come on down your way!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

If I don’t want to be contacted . . .

. . . I probably won’t be.

And these days, no matter how many times you message me or pester me up and down, chance are I simply either won’t reply or I’ll block you and delete you off my list or whatever for good.

In the past I’d sometimes relent on this particular policy of mine . . . ALWAYS and ALWAYS to be disappointed that I did. If my gut told me that a certain piece of communication was to be ignored, and if I ignored my gut – guess what eventually happened.

I got burnt.

Anyway, what do I mean. Why exactly am I saying this?

Well, it’s simple . . .

I don’t know if y’all remember this, but a while ago I wrote about a person that took trolling me to a whole new personal and racist level.

He was basically using the “can a non white person be American” garbage “logic” to troll me and while I initially got pissed off, I later just did what I do now up and ignore it (actually, I PROFIT from it too, hehe, but that’s a different story and one I believe I will talk about soon on the other site ?).

And though he himself up and blocked him after verbally abusing me online, he’s back as of now, and he’s been trying to get in touch with me with a friend of mine.

A good friend . . . with whom I rarely if ever see eye to eye on anything , hehe.

And when I received said message from my friend, I didn’t respond (for obvious reasons).

But I didn’t block him. OR delete him. Or put him on permanent ignore. Or anything . . .

Despite all our numerous disagreements he’s actually  a smart dude that chooses to support the wrong people and take the wrong path in life, but hey, he probably thinks that about me too. And I’d be the LAST person to tell him that he didn’t have the right to live his life the way he wants though.

Not so with the other dude though.

And once it became nigh apparent that I wasn’t going to “forgive him” (a trollish way indeed of saying “lets start wasting time with meaningless conversations again”) he started trying to get in touch with me – again through other channels.

Namely, a girl named . . . ah, I won’t name her, but let me just say that the two of them “know” each other and the shenanigans they got up to – well, I won’t mention them here, but they’re not for the faint hearted to be honest (no, nothing R rated as far as I know, but on the scale of “how the hell can someone be so DUMB”).

Et al.

And as far as I’m concerned, the reason she’s persona NON GRATA is because she contacted me a few years ago asking me to build her a website . . . for . . . you guessed it.

FREEEEEE!

And while I politely declined, I never spoke to her after that (again, for obvious reasons) .

And as of late she’s back with a vengeance, much like dude I’m talking about is.

Probably the lockdown (though I hear the U.K. is technically and finally starting to get out of lockdown, hehe) and probably boredom from having no job or worthwhile means of employment and trolling outta Mama’s basement, or Cheung King mansions in Hong Kong, or the “government homes” (as dude puts it – apparently he’s on some sort of government welfare or what not after (again, apparently) getting kicked out of China) . . .

But whatever it is, it started with a lengthy Facebook message which I’d post here, but I deleted instantly.

Then this email a few days later –

Hello Rahul,

My name is <I’m being kind, so I won’t name and shame> (I'm sure you've heard plenty about me!)

Can we talk please?

I need to talk to you about something. It's very important.

Please Email me back on this Email Address, which is: <bleep>

Look forward to hearing from you.

Many Thanks, <name withheld>

The subject line of the email was this “Hello Rahul. We Need To Talk Please?!”

If there ever was a limit to which the nutjobs can go to to WASTE time, I’m yet to see it. Hehe.

This lady (I’m using the term very sparingly, mind you) writes lengthy emails and Facebook messages to me and deliberately hangs out bait to the order of “we need to talk” when I don’t know her from Adam (or Eve).

At least I knew the other dude. With this gal, no way, Jose – all I know is what I heard from other dude, and the less I heard on that front the better. Believe me, you DO NOT want to know some the “shyt” (literally!) she got into . . .

Why not simply use the email or Facebook message to just up and TELL Me what she wants?

Ah, but that’s because she knows my response to the freebie seekers, lookie lous, Tom tommers and retards in general . . .

But she’s trying to get one last little time wasting dig in anyway.

Nice try, but no dice, but on that note though, it must be said that on occasion I do forget to get back to GENUINE emails – sometimes because I’m just too busy to do so – and sometimes because well, there are only 24 hours in a day and I only have 10 quick little fingers, and even those aren’t enough at times.

As I state on my sites, if the question warrants it I’ll reply through my email list for all to see.

And sometimes even if it doesn’t, hehe, if just to showcase the pure and utter idiocy people find the time to get up to.

Anyway, last, but not least, if you’ve emailed me and I have not responded within 24 hours (and if its something genuine), please DO BY ALL MEANS send me a follow up email ,and I’ll get back to you asap. Sometimes, there is just too much to do in any certain day!

And that, my dear reader is THAT. I’ll be back with more “explosive stuff” soon, hehe.

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

As I was talking to my wife today over lunch, she spoke about something that a current employer (of sorts) of hers is doing.

For what it’s worth, my wife is in the recruitment biz (which is how we met, hehe, long story there tho!) and is what she does currently on a part time basis.

If you’re interested in a job in India, she’s probably the one you need to hit up, but given the COVID lockdown in India (one of the worlds by far harshest and strictest lockdowns), the country has all but ground to a screeching, crying HALT.

A very ineptly done lockdown indeed, and I fear one that really accomplished squat all other than being a STOP GAP measure.

I said this before, of course. A long time ago, and I was called a moron – or worse – for saying it.

I said that the horse done bolted when the Chinese wifully ignored the virus and let it spread willy nilly, and only reported it when they HAD to, and by then the damage was done, and it will take the world a long damned time to recover from this, if ever.

And whether or not the virus was created in China is another topic altogether, and not one for this here email.

Anyway, her employer is running from pillar to post to find sources of income.

Unfortunately not everyone is open to the sort of ideas I am, and so she’s pretty much dependent upon the economy in this regard.

And while she’s getting into the online education hussle, as my wife said over lunch, what was my reaction when I heard about this?

HO HUM.

Online education just don’t’ work, my friend. Period.

It’s been tried in China, and has already FLOPPED.

And I’ve said this from the very beginning, back when the China tom tommers (you know who you are!) were claiming that online education would be the next big thing.

No it won’t

There are some things that lend themselves better to IN  PERSON, my friend, and that’s just a fact.

And what I told my wife was basically what I said here, and then

“If you truly want to succeed, real success, then do the OPPOSITE of what everyone is doing”.

And if you think about it that’s one of the best pieces of advice I can give anyone.

Sure, it may come with being ridiculed, put down, called names, and WORSE, but end of the day, this approach delivers lasting results and gets you to the pinnacles of success in whatever it is you truly want.

What you REALLY want out of life, not what your parents, co-workers,friends, or family want you to do.

What YOU want to do, and that at the end of the day is what REALLY MATTERS and you know it, my friend.

That nagging discontent ain’t gonna go away, my friend.

And rather than be the one that has regrets - - why not simply accept the fact you have ONE LIFE – to do what you TRULY WANT?

I’ll write more on this later. Back to doing the precise opposite of what others are doing and having ideas that may sound wild is something all of the people below had in common –

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Claude Bristol

Napoleon Hill

Henry Ford

Edison

Steve Jobs

Jack Ma

Jeff Bezos

. . . and scores of other than really made it in their lives.

Study their stories, and you’ll understand what your truly BE talking about, hehe.

And fitness is the same.

No, long drawn out workouts with your heart rate in the “zone” doesn’t cut it, and the results that most people get after going to the gym for years show.

NO, pavement pounding ain’t near as good as intense sprints. Proof is in the pudding!

YES, short and intense workouts benefit you in all regards far more than the commonly touted (by the so called experts) alternative.

YES, doing your own thing is truly where it is AT!

And so forth.

Think about everything I’ve just told you my friend, and apply it in YOUR life.

If you do so - You’ll start to go places – that I do promise you!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

The LAST little bit - when it comes to PULL-UPS.

I ain't talking "wang doodle" pull-ups either here.

(Sorry that I gotta say that up front, my friend, but you'd be amazed at the inquiries I get - I once got from none other Bozo Schofield saying "my wife won't make love to me since I have a small penis").

(He was on Freak-Book under a different nick in my group there. I believe he still is, hehe.I ain't had the heart to kick him out (but I am sure this gives him more ideas which I eagerly await and anticipate so I can share more with y'all!)).

But anyway, God(dess) pity the woman who would be with Bozo, much less marry him or be in a relationship, even one he pays. (with stolen funds).

But anyway, pull-ups.

A long time ago, another old man in China (and again, this was during my afternoon shift workouts) with a great Alsatian dog (thankfully not the pink rat dogs the Chinese so love! - I love German Shepherds. ALWAYS been my favorite) used to see me doing pull-ups out there, and often tried to do what I did.

Of course, he tried as EVERYONE does the "chin up" style.

To his credit, he got ONE out ... almost.

(No Schofield not that one).

Thats another thing, the people constantly carping on chin ups for SHOW, and not doing the REAL strength builder - pull-ups.

I have covered reasons on that one before, so won't get into it again.

But anyway, as he saw me doing 'em, he'd often make the sign with his hand.

Like a flat hand at the base of the neck, as if he were chopping it off.

HE meant, thats how you do pull-ups.

I was doing them to the chest, of course ...

But this old man (not one of my favorites admittedly, but friendly enough anyway - not favorite because he talked too much, and didnt do the thing) had it spot on.

Look, guys.

Lots of you have gotten good at pull-ups after investing in my course "Pull-ups from DUD to STUD within a matter of WEEKS!" and yes, it truly is the best out there for newbies at the pull-up, or even Jim Shim guys who claim they're big and can bench Manhattan when they're FAT and can't do a pull-up or hang on to the bar after YEARS of trying at the gym (and after all the advice the idiot trainers at the gym gave 'em).

But lots of you, and I've noticed then when coaching, even those of you that do it without momentum like I tell you to - bring the chin up to the bar, slightly beyond, and then repeat.

Now, this is great.

Thats how it's meant to be done, but for max effect?

You dont just bring your chin across the bar and repeat.

You pause - and you pull up just that little more until your Adam's apple or preferably base of the neck is touching the pull-up bar, THEN you repeat!

This last bit, my friend, if you're using the lats - really CRUNCHES The biceps.

Not the peak.

Not the third intergalactic strand the bros pump.

But the BOTTOM of the muscle, where it starts, and this does more to build trap and bicep strength than anything else, including all the chin-ups you do.

Even the chin up, when it really hits you, you'll feel the muscle "bulging out".

FRom the bottom.

And with the pull-ups, your elbows will naturally come down to LATS if you do 'em right.

Truly lats like bats, hehe.

So remember, much like in life - with the pull-up - the LAST bit is what counts!

Napoloen Hill said it for life of course.

MOst men experience their greatest successes just a step beyond their greatest failure.

Read "Three Feet from Gold" for more on that or a condensed version in Think and Grow Rich

But for now, thats the point.

Apply it!

Best

Rahul Mookerjee

PS - It's impossible not to talk shoulders with traps, no? That part of the body that everyon eloves, Bozos, gym goers, women, real strength trainees and so forth?

Well, get building them in a superlative manner with Barnstormer Shoulders now, and turn into a human beast with the routines therein.

Move over "Simple and Effective Diet". THIS is the book that is Simple and Effective, as a customer said!
