Why kiddie cellphone (dumbphone) addiction is a real thing and why it needs to be combated ASAP.
I'm pretty famous in my family for one thing - being extremely "lassiez fairrer" in terms of parenting (yes, I know, I got it wrong - Tai Po's as usual) (but as a certain kid recently asked me "Dad - didnt you ever LEARN anything at school" (with regard to "complete nouns" or "proper nouns" or "common nouns" - I've no idea what any of that means) - grammar and punctuation and apostrofees and other nonsense ain't really high on my bucket list of "to do things" unless I MAKE IT). . . and two, for not really "dictating to my daughter" what to do (unlike our own childhood growing up!).
I'm pretty sure everyone can relate to "how it was before". and the polar opposite brattiness it's turned into now, and the China plague has made it worse with people being cooped up at home and kids being forced into unnatural routines etc (I'm sure China planned that too, of course!) and of course the blasted dumbphone.
Anyway, the parade of copywriters on LinkedIn constantly jumping up and down about "good copy" and "good grammar" and other absolute rot in my opinion never fails to amaze me!
SALES is what counts, and sales - especially in many verticals has got NOTHING to do with tai-pos or the lack thereof.
In other words, I've probably made a LOT more money than my lovely (not) English teacher at school who used to reprimand me for looking outside the window during class (when I DID show up that is) at the "ice cream seller" (non existent - I was day dreaming, or dreaming perhaps).
Same thing in college ..
As a great customer noted, and many others have - fitness books, and "how to books" in general ain't about Steven Spielberg presentation, hiring Sly Stallone's make up artist to touch up before the damn photos, and they certainly aint about typos.
Though I WILL say, my books contain very few, but there may be some that slip through and no, I am not going to hire "copywriters" for it!
No way!
It's insane, but I get asked for that all the time despite it being blatantly obvious to even the meanest intelligence that ... yours truly does his own copy, and does it better than most others out there, and is probbaly the most humble about it too. (hehe).
But anyway, point of this isn't me- it's kids in general.
And these unnatural routines being forced upon kids globally, and the school teachers etc running amok and not really doing their job worth a damn (though I dont blame them in terms of online classes - impossible those are, I should know!) ... guess what they turn to to "escape the reality".
IT's DUMBPHONES.
That addiction, my friend, is one of the most dangerous out there, and I'd put it right on par with drug abuse or severe alcohol addiction, or smoking ...
Because for one, it destroys the brain - and imagination - and when that goes, everything, including your ability to communicate well, get alone with people, and THINK for yourself - be INDEPENDENT - everything goes straight out of the window.
If you've got kids, this past year and THIS year has probably alerted you to the "brat hiding within" eh (when it comes to kids).
And dumbphone addictions, it's becoming damn near impossible to tear them away from these blasted devices.
From what I can tell, my daughter's no slouch in that area either.
I can but marvel at the amount of screen time she gets in - and she ain't the only one by far. ALL the kids I'm seeing these days have become lazy, pot bellied, fat, and slovenly - in our time, we'd get punished in no time.
Often brutally. (or what you'd think is brutal).
Now, of course, it's the polar opposite and a crazy world indeed.
But I gotta say, I mean even me ... I can't do the computer for more than two hours at a stretch, and I'm doing creative stuff. If it's inane vidoes etc, I draw the line at about half a second and I dont even start to be honest.
I'd go BONKERS with that much dumbphone in my life, and kids are as well.
You, my friend, gotta combat this.
If your kid turns into "super brat" as soon as you tear him and her away from the phone - well, you gotta clamp down.
And getting them to do physical activity is the BEST thing you can do for them, even if you're at home.(or they are).
Which is pretty why there is so much demand for Kiddie Fitness for one, as well as the adult version in many ways - the Rolls Royce of Fitness.
The family that works out together indeed does "stay" together in more ways than one.
And other than that, make sure to limit dumbphone time etc for kids as far as possible. Their hippocampus (did I get it right?) for one will thank you!
Oh my.
Insanity everywhere, maybe thats exactly what China planned.
Come to think that IS what they planned.
And I've been saying it for ages.
HA!
Anyway, thats the message. Take it or leave it, but it's true ...
Best,
Rahul Mookerjee
Why it's IMPERATIVE to get them started early - by example, at that.
Something that a lot of you have spoken about, and that I notice all the time, especially when I see videos of her and stuff - is the SHOULDERS!
Lots of you have commented upon the broad shoulders and upper back my little girl has - YES, thats a good thing even for "girls" or ladies!
Makes the waist look far slimmer for one, but beyond that - most people - such as my wife, for instance, or my mom - they put it down to "genetics".
Maybe there's a bit of that at play, I dont know.
But here's the bottom line - her genetics come from mostly me - mentally. Physically, perhaps its a medley - but my family isn't exactly one which exercises a lot, has broad shoulders etc ...
Heck, until the age of 18, or 19 - I was SKINNY, period.
I didnt even have shoulders, almost. Hehe
That ain't my fault, of course, as I was never given the environment to workout in - and more importantly I knew not a SMIDGEON of what I know today - that I learned from being in the trenches.
Most importantly though, it's "learning by example".
The only example I had of physical activity growing up was my dad collapsing in a second or so after hanging on to the pull-up bar - or, when climbing a hill, and asked to do again - "NO WAY!".
Or, the pink dumbells we had lying around at home that were suppose to build "size".
And fitness!
"Thats how you get ripped", I was told.
It ain't either, my friend but you know this, of course.
There was never anyone around to teach me how to do pushups - pullups - or even lift weights - that was "for those nasty BIG people" as my Mom kept saying.
True, the mind the most important muscle of the body to train, but you only train the mind fully if you have a physically FIT body functioning at optimal levels in all regards.
Anyway, enough about me.
My daughter's secret to those shoulders?
Handstands - and handstand pushups.
"Dad, I couldn't even do them", she often says. "But from a young age I saw YOU doing them, and then I started!"
THERE!
That is the key my friend.
Little kids are like monkeys.
Monkey see, monkey do.
They see you sitting on your arse all day, guess what they will do.
They see you on the dumbphone all day, guess what they will do (no, all the explaining in the world that "this is for work, I earn money from it" wont help either).
You teach by example, period.
As simple as it gets.
That is the reason for videos and such anyway - come to think of it.
My daughter has an example from a young age, unlike yours truly who started at 25 for the most part. That don't mean you can't start late - but it DOES mean those who start EARLY always have an advantage.
Remember, the early bird gets the worm.
Anyway ...
Handstands - or handstand pushups - or both - are the secret key not just to building Brahma Bull like Shoulders like BOULDERS!
They're also the KEY to a ripped core - midsection - and so forth.
And fat loss bar none.
Even if all you do all day is hold a handstand for 10 seconds with the right breathing ... whooops!
I forgot.
Most people can barely get into a handstand of any nature, let alone hold.
My current best is 60 seconds at one time, though I'll do more if I have to.
I mix in some pushups with it too ...
Real strength, real training my friend.
Get the ONE AND ONLY course on it - NOW!
And if you're looking for advanced - get Battletank Shoulders, the course people have been raving about for ages. Some of you have been PUTTING off this purchase - big mistake!
Get these NOW.
And remember the lesson!
Best,
Rahul Mookerjee
P.S. - Kiddie Fitness is a must grab for those of you with kids, and if you're looking to progress into freestanding handstands, then build the bridge for it FIRST. By getting "Profound 70% Gorilla 30% Human Handstands".
Here is a recent review for the book -
Massive Upper Body Strength & Power
This book is "short and sweet" and so will this review be.
If you're looking to develop massive upper body strength and power you need this book.
Yet another masterpiece from The Bodyweight Guru, buy the book you won't regret it.
AMEN!
The GREAT review that Kiddie Fitness just received!
I just had to write to you about this, my friend!
After rejigging that products page in the morning - I got to working on the sales page for the book on Nazi feminism.
Which is 99.99% done - and I need to make a few minor changes before getting it live on the site, which should be very very soon indeed, my friend - be on the outlook for it - you'll LOVE IT! (both real men and if you're sick and tired of the constant mood swings, entitlement etc that women hit us with all th e time).
I figured I'd check my email. And I got this great review for Kiddie Fitness - a book truly worth it's weight in GOLD!
Trust me, and I just updated the sales page to say this - especially in these times of dumbphone addiction and China virus and "lockdown shockdown" - this book is probably a must grab for EVERYONE, my friend - and certainly so if you have kids (of any age!).
Trust me, it's information that is both golden and priceless, and brings results like nothing you've ever done with your kids, so if you have not already, grab it now, but wait a min!
I got ahead of myself. I often do, hehe.
Here is the review sent in by Lee Lowder from (I believe the US?) -
Fun and Effective!
The only thing close to a complaint I have is that there is no video - but that isn't a huge one.
The movements are deceptively simple, but give you a workout. It's presented in a way that you are more or less playing with your kids while improving their health, endurance, and strength. Suitable for pretty much all school aged children as well - some of the movements can be done by younger kids, if you can get them to follow along.... Teens may be "too cool" but start 'em young and you'll get past that when the time comes. If it is too late to start 'em young, trick them into thinking it is their idea, or show them the book and have them come up with a program and coach you on it.
Amen - I could not have said it better!
Lee, my friend - thank you for your support, and answering the "call" I sent out in the last email (a lot of 'em) in terms of providing REVIEWS - and in terms of placing the pre-order!
I believe the system should have auto emailed you a 10% discount code - let me know if you got it!
(PS - That is a huge bonus for everyone still on the fence about reviews - remember, auto 10% discount code for leaving reviews - which costs you nothing at all but a few minutes of your time!)
And, Lee's review is posted on the left hand side of the blog page on the site too.
More "featured" reviews at the bottom of the page!
Truly a fanatic about real reviews am I!
And even the Bozo Schofield reviews, hehe, but let's address what he said.
First, he's right.
I was going to put out a video for this - with my lovely little girl being the main star (only star, most likely!).
But she wasn't willing. Hehe. It was enough to, as he says, "get her to focus" on taking the PICTURES for the book- a video?
That might have been a stretch too far, hehe.
Maybe I'll talk to her again about it.
Or, maybe we'll do some secret filming with yours truly and her while she's doing the workout, and I'm there too. Hehe. Sometimes with kids it works best that way!
And like Lee said.
DECEPTIVELY Simple movements - heck yeah!
Some of these movements look so simple the average adult would pooh pooh at 'em, but get THEM to do the thing?
And they'll more than likely fall fat (flat, hehe) on their faces.
Movements tailored especially for kids - but movements that strengthen, stretch and build your kid up internally - both mentally and physically - like all my other great products do.
And movements many adults could use too, to be honest.
Trick them into thinking it's their idea.
True indeed! Lee's indeed experienced at how to deal with kids, hehe. And he's right! Give 'em the credit first, and see how quickly they do what you want 'em to do!
(same thing for idiotic Nazi feminists as well, but thats a different kettle of fish, hehe - pun intended and maybe not).
And anyway ...
No, you're never "too cool" for any of this, my friend.
I said on Twitter this morning - FOLLOW THE BASICS - ALWAYS!
And it holds true.
You are never evet too cool for these, my friend, and neither is any kid!
And on that note, I'm out.
Be on the outlook for the sales page for Nazi feminism coming up soon - book's I believe 85% done at the time of writing this, and coming soon, along with plenty more too!
Stay TUNED!
Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

My ABS be a burning!
As a certain Mr. Wong from wayyyy back in the day used to often say (exclaim) –
FO**!
Yes, that’s rightl He said it without the “U” – don’t ask me why, hehe.
Maybe that’s how they say the fabled four letter word in a different language, but it ain’t Chinese for sure, and neither is it any of the dialects spoken in the mainland
And as I break into the sort of “breathless” giggles – laughs – the sort you have when you’re really gasping for breath and when a six (soon to be 7) year old beats the heck out of you in kiddie movements (as she should, hehe), it reminded me of Mr. Wong’s words.
It also reminded me of how back in the day, when I was lifting weights, he used to grip my forearms and and comment on their size and strength.
And that, of course was pre-Gorilla Grip days.
Yes, that “infamous” incident when I fell out of a bus and a tennis player about 6’1” almost crushed my hand later, and acted like he didn’t mean to (sure he did, hehe) STUCK in my craw - - and ever since, I’ve worked my grip (and legs) with a passion second to NONE.
But this ain’t about grip is it.
It’s about ABS.
And my abs are SCREAMING right now with the kiddie version of a jump my daughter beat me at.
Admittedly, she cheated again, hehe, but she did better than yesterday! ?
And that’s what counts. Small, incremental improvements are how you do it, my friend – and how it’s done in terms of fitness. Biting off more than you chew rarely, if ever leads to frustrations ville and NO results.
What exactly is this sort of jump you ask?
Well, I revel all in Kiddie Fitness, so I won’t get into it here. After all, that’s what the book is for no?
But yeah, I WILL tell you one damn thing.
I didn’t just graduate to climbing that hill of mine, for instance, in 1 day. Or one week. Or even a month.
NO.
I worked up to it.
First, it was once every morning and evening thrice a week (with the morning being daily).
Then I hammered out two in the morning, and then three, and kept the one in the night . . .until it became two at night over the space of three weeks.
And beyond a certain point, I just started to FLY up the hill, and now, it barely seems like anything . . .
And that’s how it should be for you too, my friend.
Start small. Build the momentum, keep it going. And build from THERE!
As an aside, it was interesting to see all the folks out there putting on masks as soon as they saw us approach.
. . . and through out workout outdoors (part of it, at least), they smiled on, and actually tried to join in.
All kudos, hehe.
And so much for this dumb ass, blasted COVID scare all over the globe.
Ah well. That’s that for now – I’ll be back soon!
Best,
Rahul Mookerjee
